Point Lobos in Carmel has always been one of my favorite places to visit, hike and photograph. This was painted later in the studio. I like the way it came out.
My name is Ellen Brandin. I was born in Europe and am currently living in Norther California with my husband. I refer to myself as a would-be-artist because I can't quite conceive of myself as a full blown artist, yet. Pursuing art has been my passion for the last few years and as I grow and improve, my passion increases. A blog will help me to stay focused and on track and take myself more seriously. Someday I will feel like a can refer to myself as an "artist." I would love to share my artistic journey with family, fiends and all the people who, I hope, will drop in and let me know how I am doing.
WOW!! This is the one! You captured the atmosphere and mood of the place. Simply beautiful, Love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Ran,
ReplyDeleteLove to hear from you. I am especially happy with the way the Cypress tree came out.
Well, I'm only six months too late, but wanted to say this is so beautiful, Ellen. There's such movement and life here.
